That was a good first game of the rookie tournament. The guys looked focused and ready to take them on. Was happy to see everyone put in the work and give it 100% effort.
Go Ducks! Still like Fantilli (had 3 goals, 2 assist last game) a little more but Leo looked really good and his skating looked much more explosive. Hopefully he develops into a Kopitar or even Barkov type.
Terry should be the captain if they are going to pick one, I think Cam makes a perfect A. If not roll with A's until we find one.
Like that the rookies played well against the Knights, but there talent might be weak. With a lost to our young kids and a getting worked by San Jose last night. The price of draft late in the draft, showes. Also, for missing out on Bedard at #1 and didn't pick Fantilli (did score a hat trick on his rookie faceoff), Leo can be a set center but need a finisher to compliment his work. Sucks to lose Comtois, probably the scorer Carolsson could have used.
Not prominent to the video in the slightest, but this ducks fan finally got a jersey 🙂 couldn’t be happier to support a team like this
