What are Habs even willing to give up for him though? No shot they are giving draft picks and most of their roster players are ass, nothing that Anaheim is interested about.

As a habs and sabres fan the dream scenario would be for the sabres to trade for Zegras in exchange of some offense players that aren't in their plans for the future, and then the sabres trade Zegras to montreal for some defensemen prospects like this montreal gets what they need in exchange of what they have in excess and buffalo gets the defense they need
renaud lavoie is one of the less consistent hockey guy ive ever seen
I wouldn't mind seeing Zegras on the Sabres, but I don't think I would like to see them pay the price Anaheim would be asking for. Then again, if the Ducks really do value him as a $4M/yr player shouldn't the price to acquire him be pretty low? Something doesn't add up here. Maybe teams were just inquiring to figure out if the Ducks really were that pessimistic about his potential in case they could buy low.
Try Mailloux, Mesar, harris and the pick received in the Monahan deal. Add Anderson if they want to. Get Zegras
