How do we know the “wants to be a Flyer” isn’t the narrative being invented? This kid is committed to Russia for 3 years. Who know what he’ll want or where Flyers will be by then. I remember people blowing up the Nolan Patrick quote where he said “I’m not disappointed about not being picked by Jersey” as him wanting badly to be in Philly… How’s that going?
