Mailloux, Roy, Farrell With Best Game Yet, Xhekaj Punches in Final Day of Rookie Camp

Logan Mailloux had a bunch of chances to score but wasn’t able to, it was his best game so far and he showed decent improvement in each game after a rough start. Joshua Roy with his best game as well, moved the puck and created chances, he’ll need to continue to work on getting much quicker but should have a good year in Laval. Sean Farrell with his best game as well as it was disappointing for what may have been the 2nd best player in the NCAA this season but he will need to continue working on adding strength, mass, speed.

  1. I agree 100% on all counts. Mailloux is gradually becoming the best Hab at this tourney IMO, neck-and-neck with Roy. Mesar was a LOT better today too. And Farrell showed us today why he was so highly touted. Very smart, heads-up player with terrific vision.

  2. Can we talk about Roy a little. He's by far the best forward of the Habs rookies so far. You can easily see he's a scorer. 2 goals in 2 games and hit the post in this one with a couple of nice passes. this guy has NHL written on his forehead.

  3. Mailloux is already the Habs best 2 way Dman in their system …Fans will love him patrolling the ice over 20 minutes per game ..

  4. Kidney the Kid is a smart player who will be an important part of the Habs as he grows and gets stronger …He and Roy will put goals and points on the board for years ..

  5. Reinbacher is already playing like a veteran out there. Really looking forward to his development.
