  1. While having a right-handed defensemen would be nice, its not 100% necessary. Some of the young guys are gaining experience there, even though they shoot lefty. Hawks prospect pool is VERY good. Bedard should have 30+ goals as a rookie, and he obviously leads the pack. SPEED SPEED SPEED is the name of the game for the young prospect forwards for Hawks, and they have some big boys on the back end who are not shabby skaters either. With 2 more 1st rounders in 2024 draft, PLUS 3 2nd rounders, Hawks will be a top team again in a few years, and maybe sooner than later.
