harley and miro for next few years is going to be awesome
Any combination of Lindell on 2nd pairing and Hakanpaa on 3rd looks good on paper. Pair a defensive guy with a more offensively inclined guy. Good balance. If you put Harley with Lindell, that 2nd pairing would probably be really solid defensively with a bump in offensive potential. That of course means you saddle the technical worst veteran defender with the worst of the younger ones. That probably doesn't make the overall defense as balanced as you'd want, even if Nils technically adds more speed and offense to a Hak line. If you do the opposite, the Lindell pair will function similar to the old Lindell/Klinger days (which weren't that bad when they were actually together) where Lindell can cover for any defensive holes Nils has. Harley/Hak would be fairly solid defensively, and could basically be like the Lindell/Hak pair but with a bit more mobility and puck moving potential.

I’d love to hear what you think our formations will be in the offensive and defensive zones. In the playoffs that changed almost game to game. Crowding the net and taking shots from the blue line seemed to work the best in my opinion, but that’s not what we saw through the regular season. They played much more spread out in the regular season. Any thoughts?
