Evander Kane’s 21 game suspension will conclude on November 30th, when the San Jose Sharks are set to play the New Jersey Devils. Kane was reportedly at Sharks Ice two days ago.

Where is everyone coming up with "either kane or hertl" comments? He obviously doesnt like the idea of him being on the team, but never says anything close to that

Kane's going on waivers. If no one picks him up, it's off to the Baracuda. Hurray! The team doesn't want him as he doesn't follow team rules. I don't know why Wilson signs everyone to long term contracts the team has to buy out later ( martin jones)

Kane has skill but he is a cancer in the locker room. They should just move on. Pay him what they owe him and wish him luck. I am not sure that another NHL team would risk adding him to their roster. He might have a future in the KHL or in another European league though.

The Sharks deserve Kane. They knew he was a problem child from his Atlanta, Winnipeg and Buffalo days. Yet they still chose him and let Pavelski walk so hope they get stuck with Kane and lose Hertl too. It would be karma
I can’t understand how Wilson still has a job. 20 years and the Sharks never do anything in the playoffs. And he chose to waste cap space on Karlsson and Kane is beyond stupidity. Offering Tavares 9 million was even dumber. Luckily PJ John declined it. If Wilson was a GM on any other team, he would have been fired after 4 years

the Sharks are going to trade Hertl while he's at the top of his value (to the market) before he hits his downward age curve. a massive contract from the Sharks at this point in his career and their cap situation would be a serious blow to the future of this org, considering their remaining bad contracts. they're going to dodge a bullet with the Kane contract, another contract mistake from DW just because there's some new breathing room would be the end of him.
Kane's cap hit will be spent on re-signing: Ferraro, Middleton, Dahlen, and Barabanov.
