Absolutely nothing new with Holloway. Just something about that guy's game, maybe hockey IQ, that just isn't cutting it. If he can't look like a top 6 on an AHL roster what's with all the praise and hand holding to slot this guy into a NHL bottom 6 position? With the experience the Oilers gave Holloway last year, this dude should be scoring 1 goal every preseason game. I'm 100% sure Woodcroft is concerned about this guy. Way too many NHL vets signed to PTOs to just hand a bottom 6 position to Holloway just because of his pearly white smile and nick name. Out of all the AHL prospects the Oilers are icing for the preseason Holloway and Lovoie are the only 2 management is seriously looking at and either one of them are not clicking within the Oilers' system. Let's see how they look with the remaining preseason games.
