Certainly was a crunching blow for a pre season game.
Odd the linesmen didn’t let them go, they had their gloves off and a hold of each other by the time the first linesmen got in.

Absolutely gutless play by MacEwen, even if Guhle is okay a cheap shot from behind like that is never a thing you want to see in the NHL, especially in fucking pre-season. Gutless play, hope MacEwen gets what's coming to him soon. Guaranteed he wouldn't be doing that if Xhekaj or Anderson were in the line-up tonight.

Bad hit, but the Montreal player has to know that hit is coming. He acts like he's not allowed to be checked or something. If he pays any attention at all, that's a normal every day hit.

Typical Canadiens being absolute wusses, MacEwen came in playing the right game but the Canadiens pretty much had a figure skating line-up.
Guhle has the number. That hit will be returned by him or Xhekaj no question. Thankfully with all our injuries last year he was ok. That was one of three cheap plays in the first alone but the ref kept putting them on the pp … preseason so whatever
