F Kane! The biggest difference maker would be the goalie Thompson from Vegas, Also would cost the least.
NO to Zegras , NO to Kane as I say go with Benson Kullich Rousek or Savoie( injuried??) . Even better , trade Olofsson asap and open another spot for a prospect! . NO to Hellebuyck as the price in a trade and what he would ask for in a new contract would be HUGE! Plus Hellebuyck would want to play the majority of games which would piss off Levi!!!
I would rather trade for Gibson , Hart or Demko before Hellebyuck . In reality what most likely happens is that Adams and Granato carry 3 goalies ( 13 forwards and 7 D , bye bye Bryson) for now as i think they fear losing either UPL or Comrie if they are put on waivers as both Tampa and Colorado are desperately looking for a goalie .

The price for Zegras will be too expensive for Adams' taste…i can almost guarantee it. Multiple prospects and draft picks would probably be the cost. As for Zegras the player, talent-wise, he's an A+. I'm not sure he's a culture fit and bringing in the wrong kind of player at this early juncture could be destructive.
Kane I'm coming around on. Him joining the lineup sometime in January with his playoff experience could be a big boon to the lineup. But…BUT…who does he bump down/ out the lineup. As a 3rd line guy, if he can stay healthy and at the right price…go for it.
Hellebuyck is a double-edged sword. Yes, he's an immediate upgrade in net. However, you're either looking at a one year rental at probably a very steep cost, or you get him to agree to an extension at what price? Do you want to tie up long-term cap space on a goalie going into his 30s, with a lot of mileage, when you're all-in on Levi? I say no.

Thereās also the Thatcher Demko being shopped around before the draft rumors. Heās only has 2 years left on a reasonable $5M per year contract and would be a solid 1B to Levi. By the time Leviās next contract is negotiated, Demkoās would be up and they could trade him at the deadline or let him walk.

I agree, Hellebyuck would demand too much in a trade aside from his considerable pay. Zegras, I think getting him would be a lose-lose situation for us. We would just get another Olofsson that costs more. And that's the good part of this deal, the bad part is imagine all the prospects we have seeing the Sabres have no spots left to fill. We will lose prospects yes, but lose them for the right reasons and not lose them to free agency due to not wanting to re-sign cause they have no roster spots open. Kane is the only one I could possibly be open to only if its a 1 year. But even then I woudln't sign him. That's my thoughts on those 3 trades.
