Sid was hit in the side of the neck and was cleared by the medical staff the Penguins are one of the few teams in the league where their team doctor travels with them. He came back to the game and finished it.

Hopefully Sid's okay and it's not another concussion. I wouldn't wish a long-lasting brain injury on my worst enemy. With Sid's history, another one could ruin him in all aspects of life (outside of hockey).

This is why you keep your shots low kids when you are shooting from the point. You are less likely to injure your own teammate, easier for them to tip the puck in the net or get a rebound from the goaltender.
