Do we have the capspace to run 3 goalies?
The defense will be interesting. I imagine we keep Guhle, Savard, Matheson, Kovacevic, Wideman, and 2 of Barron/Harris/Xhekaj. This means we could have 9 D in Laval(Mailloux, Keeper, Lindstrom, Norlinder, Tourigny, Beaudoin, Struble, Trudeau, Barron/Harris/Xhekaj). Out of that group, only Tourigny seems Trois-Rivières worthy.
I feel like we need to trade at least one of them. Lindstrom was obviously not planned but he’s redundant with Keeper already there. Beaudoin had a nice end of season last year and it’s too bad that he’s probably going to be pushed down the lineup.
Anyway, nice puzzle for HuGo to figure out.
Why is Maillet still there?
Put Barron in the AHL. The only thing he’s proven is that he isn’t ready compared to the other options we have
Haven’t been following, when did they cut Roy? Did he look NHL ready or close to?
