  1. So because he was hit by a firework and you weren't hes a hero? I get it I get it but it's not like the dude jumped on the firework

  2. Something not adding up. I've read a mortar tilted towards onlookers. I've read a fireworks display tipped over. I have also heard he was in a hot tub running away from danger. Now this guy is saying he jumped in front of the mortar to save ppl's lives. Police said he died from a fall. I don't think any of these things are the truth. He was prob drinking, prob actin a fool and got blasted in the chest by this mortar

  3. He’s saying he’s a hero because he probably impulsively caught it, he was a GOALIE. Y’all are cruel asf, he was a hero because he paid the highest price you can pay, he lost his life. Instead of it hitting a pregnant woman or exploding and hitting everyone around them it hit one person. Show some respect

  4. Greater love has no one but this: To lay down ones life for his freinds

  5. Now this was the last drop to make me cry louder than Nationwide arena in game 4 againts the lighting

  6. These comments are soul crushing. How can people hate themselves so much they have to hate other people? This still breaks my heart to see Elvis hurt.

  7. His last save was his biggest one yet!

FOREVER REST IN PEACE Matiss Kivlenieks!
U won’t be forgotten! U r THE definition of a hero. U r THE definition of a goalie. U made saves until the very end! May u forever rest in the internal peace you so absolutely deserve! 🖤🖤🖤🖤🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🕊️
