  1. hopefully some of the stars prospects can keep the momentum going from pre-season, they've been very impressive so far.

  2. Thank you for covering this because Stan Kroenke STILL will not let locals watch Avalanche games, and BLACKED IT OUT on the NHL Network simulcast. This piece of garbage blacked out a pre-season game.

  3. I've been saying this summer that Rasmussen is Detroit most pivotal player this year. He could be instrumental on if we have 2 legitimate scoring lines. Not points for him but everything else he was doing last year and so far in preseason

  4. Hi, THG, I was just wondering if those cats (I'm a fan of the feline kingdom: not a negative comment) have inflicted any damage to that jersey collection of yours? If the destruction of my speaker grills is any indication, cats love sharpening their claws on fibres. Do you use some sort of "CAT-AWAY!" magic potion or something? 😉

  5. Problem for Bedard, to get a lot of assists means some players on Chicago will have to learn how to score goals.

  6. Wings/Hawks need to wear those Reverse Retro's in the same game, just to bamboozle everyone haha. Why would Lyon need to clear waivers? He's on a 2 way isn't he?

  7. Drouin is looking really good, me thinks Montreal fans were overrating how bad he was just because he didn't become Guy Lafleur

  8. Awesome to see Lundqvist get on the board every game he plays in. Sure it's the preseason, but I love seeing him out there with Lindell. Fingers crossed DeBoer doesn't immediately go back to Hakanpaa/Lindell after one or two mistakes from Nils.

  9. I know it’s just preseason and all but HOLY GOALY! The Wings just put up 19 goals in the first 4 games! Hockeytown is back baby! LGRW!!!

  10. Wings depth looking solid for how bad there draft luck has been. I think that shows credit to the front office to make the best out of a not so great situation. Bedard is going to have his hands full with the Hawks, but other teams will have their hands full with him. He's fun to watch.

  11. The broadcast was terrible, there was no home broadcast and they instead put the bedard broadcast on espn

  12. I was at the wings game and bedard is PHENOMENAL to watch in person. He’s gonna wanna request a trade ASAP cause Chicago will not be ready at any point in his career lol. The first Rasmussen goal was so pretty I just kind of stared when it happened. Very fun game

  13. THG❤. Thanks 😊 🫂. Your better than Elliott Friedman, just my take. One question 🤔? I do recall seeing you on one of the TV Hockey broadcast ? I can't remember, can you fill me in on that. Thanks ❤🎉Huggs to your 🐈.

  14. Man the fact that a bunch of rookies, AHLers, and tryout players on Stars managed to go toe to toe with an almost full NHL roster of Avalanche is absolutely sick. Sucks to lose in OT and there were a plethora of mistakes, but to hold in there loke they did is very encouraging as regular season draws near.

  15. The Red Wings interviewed Bedard before the draft in part to ask him about Nate Danielson. Bedard told Steve Yzerman and Kris Draper that Danielson was the toughest person for him to play against in the WHL. Seeing that one-on-one puck battle during the final PP where Danielson stripped Bedard of the puck to create a shorthanded scoring chance that Bedard eventually broke up with a diving stick play was even more exciting knowing some of the history of those two. I'll definitely be watching them both closely tonight, and in any future games they play against each other. Who knows, maybe we'll see them face off against each other in a Stanley Cup final in 7-10 years or so.
