To be honest, these are pretty mild scenarios. I was expecting takes about guys like Höglander excelling, or Hughes finding a legitimate partner in McWard. Not “best player improves” and “new captain is a good captain”.

Demko reliving the Golden Knights brilliance throughout the entire season would be Vezina worthy. If he can do that against the majority of teams this season, we’re not just making the playoffs, but we’re winning a round or two. That bubble performance was something else…
