  1. I'm surprised the grandparent's and other sister didn't hear the gunshots and go investigate, maybe they weren't actually home which could have saved their lives. And before someone says maybe they couldn't hear it, gunfire is seriously loud. I remember watching news footage of the Virginia Tech shooting as it was going on and you could hear the gun shots from the camera microphone despite it being all the way across the street, much further from the distance between his house and his grandparents house.

  2. Sorry to go off the rails, but I almost thought he was the NHL player on the Canadiens.

  3. This is terribly inaccurate. Please correct me if I’m wrong but….

    1) He never planned on killing his sister coming back from college. He originally planned on killing his grandparents but changed course.
    2) They keep saying he was filled with rage and anger towards his sister but he very clearly states in the original 911 call that he wasn’t really angry at them. He didn’t like their behavior or attitudes but he wasn’t angry. He felt remorse immediately after realizing what he had done.

I’m not defending the kid but I feel that if people are using this as a source of information on the case, they should be provided with correct information

  4. This has to be the most cringe story of a murderer ever. I hope this loser gets bullied all day long in prison

  5. If you parole this nutcase freak of nature, he will kill again. He kills his mom and sister and considered killing his grand parents and other sister and he will be eligible for parole in 22 years.

  6. Just another one of the many glorious ways God shows us he loves us! In all his bloody Glory 🤦😆

  7. What a f***ing loser to do such an awful thing. Anyone who feels inspiration as a bad guy from horror movies. You are not part of our society. Your scum .

  8. He's a nut, and he's horrible for his actions against his family. I don't believe him for a moment their "racists" remarks.
He said they were suffocating him… it was all about him and his perception of how life "should" be. Refusing help is classic narcissistic mental instability

  9. He was born with privilege and didn't have to struggle for anything in his life, so he got bored and killed his family.

  10. I find it funny they use a 357 handgun prop, just to make the gun look powerful.
a 22, looks like a spy gun (007), or kids' cap gun.
A standard 22 revolver can hold 8-12 bullets, instead of 6 (like other revolvers) because the bullets are so small.

The sound was also the hollywood FX selection for handgun, not a 22, which sounds like a fire cracker, not grenade.
Watch any olympic shooting sports, and you will hear what they sound like, and see how tiny the hole is.
It's why it's used in sports, and in assassin hits, because it has almost no kick, and makes very little sound compared to other guns, and can easily be mistaken for something else.

  11. If only he had seen Mary Poppins that week and not Halloween everything would have been so different.

  12. Did he really say that he was inspired by the movie to kill? I listened to the full 911 call and I don’t hear him say that. Or did he tell the psychiatrist at the mental hospital where he was detained for assessment prior to being declared competent for trial? Or is it an assumption reading between the lines?

  13. It makes me mad when people talk to me about religion and i hate when they talk about the bible and about god and Jesus

  14. The boy is either on the spectrum or naive and younger than his years who just reenacted the latest movie he watched. The week before he would of redacted being an astronaut but that movie didn't involve murders.

  15. Home schooling sounds like a good idea but the children have no escape. They are cooped up with their family 24/7 and have little chance to form friendships with other kids, do collective sport, etc. Parents now take on an even bigger role as teachers as well. Not healthy.

  16. His family was definitely not racist. That’s ridiculous bull crap. They were very kind and considerate and willing to help others. This kids was sick and was driven by evil.

  17. I was an art teacher for kids. . Home schooled kids were nice kids, but often had little social skills. If you homeschool your kids, make sure social interaction is part of their education.

  18. How do I never get an inspiration from horror movies like he did ? You have to use your head when you watch such movies.
