“The Coyotes are responsible for production of the games. Coyotes play-by-play announcer Matt McConnell, color analyst Tyson Nash and hosts Todd Walsh and Jody Jackson will be back for all Coyotes broadcasts.”
From the article.

How it should always be. You shouldn’t have to pay a cable company a shit ton of money just to watch your local teams play. Hopefully dbacks follow suit

Big issue tho, its 15.2 for over the air that channel is only 480i.

Does Youtube TV in the valley pick this up? Wtf is 15.2

The Q&A says they are working on a direct to consumers streaming service too. Hopefully this means games will be available on demand for at least a few days after they are played.

Since they’ll now be free locally, any chance that they’re not blocked out on espn+? I already pay for it and would greatly prefer watching it there as it will be in 720 vs 480 on 15.2 and I can start games late, pause, fast forward, etc. Maybe their independent streaming will allow the same and hopefully be free.

My one complaint is that it just became extremely difficult to catch games at a bar or in public. The majority of sports bars, at least in Chandler and Gilbert, use DirectTV and dont have cable antennas.
DirectTV doesnt carry the channel that games will be on, at least as it is being reported now.

Most notably, they own ABC 15 locally.

Nice. That’s about the best outcome I think
