I read an article 5 years ago on Norlinder. The guy that trained him trained Nick Lidstrom. In the article he said here's your next Norris winner. And I waited and waited and waited 😅 Finally he's showing up.
Mtl are building in the right way instead of only patching like they did for so long and its fun to see alot of prospect that mtl draft for a first too lol
There are a lot of very quick changes coming in Montreal. Petterssons addition would not surprise me. That would be terrific. Would MTL. put him on the lt. wing on the first line? Put Suzi on the 2nd line with Pettersson as center on the 1st line? Although Matheson would have some apologizing to do. Remember the body slam? Norlinder is fighting for his career. He may have finally grown up. Oh yeah, the Knuckleheads have a spare Elias Pettersson. They drafted a 2nd one, as a spare?

Why would Petterson go to another rebuilding situation? Seems like a Rangers or Kings target. Perfect fit for the Bruins. Those teams seem like much better options
What do you give for Petterson? I don’t know if they have the assets. As for players choosing the Habs as a destination, I hope so, but it’s never happened before.
Montreal needs a solid goaltender end of story there's nothing else to talk.

For a player like that? Maybe if Montreal drafted Michkov, Van City would not want 4 defenceman for him..
There is no scenario in which The Bucks do not match any offer sheet for Pettersson short of him outright saying he doesn't want to play for them which wouldn't be very Swedish if him so I doubt that would ever happen…but a nice pipe dream still.
Would be nice to have Pettersson or Drisssitel but at what price, lets stick to our rebuild and wait for all of it to come together very soon.

My only worry about our future is Bobrov. His track record with the rangers is straight garbage. I still have doubts for Slaf/Mesar/Reinbacher vs Cooley/Kulich/Michkov. Not to mention we could have Askarov + 15th pick which ended up being Benson who is looking amazing. I'm not saying slaf and reinbacher won't be good though.
I've been watching Habs Hockey since the 70's. No one is more excited than me to see all this young talent. Gordon/Hughes/ St Louis rock!!! Cheers
Yeah but this style isn’t something new this year. Since MSL took over we’ve seen this new style! We are lacking 2 elite superstars upfront! If we had Nylander and or Petterson we are cup contenders! Until we find elite talent we will be on the outside looking in !
