Drug dealers have gotten longer sentences than that and he killed two family members. You can forgive, but it doesn't mean you have to invite that person to dinner or live with you. There is no way I would live in the same house with him. He act like he don't know why he did it. If you kill your mother, you will kill anyone!!!!
No the Supreme Court did not say you can't put a 17 year old in prison for life without parole. They said MANDATORY life without parole sentences for minors are unconstitutional. Lots of young inmates got pretty excited by the ruling before realizing it did not mean they were all going to be paroled at some point. Many have appealed their sentences based on the Supreme Court's ruling but were still denied the opportunity for parole. There is a big difference between what the reporter here said the ruling was and what it actually was.
Has anyone else noticed how many kids under 18 who kill say they "just wanted to see what it felt like"? I hate to blame video games. At least not entirely. But, maybe they get tired of killing characters who just show up again & want to feel the 'real thing'?

Jacob Evans plead guilty and was sentenced to 45 years for murder on two counts.
There needs to be mental help for young people. Too many things like this happening. Young teens killing parents ,siblings and classmates. It’s sad
