If you’ve ever criticized a decision of a front office/coaching staff, you are now doubt familiar with the type of fan who hates anything negative being said about his favorite team. That fan will defend the decision not based on any reasoning of their own, but by appealing to authority (‘do you seriously think you know better than the people in charge?’ is a common refrain), which is why the decision to keep Bryson on the NHL roster so interesting as not even that fan is trying to defend it.
