Got to admit Gleason does look better than Deharnais and the stop penalty that Deharais took didn’t help gain any points either. Campbell looked strong in goal. That’s what a $5 million dollar Campbell is suppose to look like in net. Let’s hope he plays like that all season and if Skinner has a solid season too watch out. Tell you what this team looks different from last year. I think they are done screwing around and it’s time to win the cup!
Man it would be quite the “coup” if the Oilers could replace Kulak and Ceci this season. Unlikely but to be honest it’s way way closer to being a possibility than I would have thought a month ago. Imagine what that would do for our cap situation! And the possibilities too! Boggles the mind if we could ship out both contracts, or 1 and then trade another NHL ready dman for a good asset that’ll help us long term. Whatever I’m just happy to feel like we have options for once instead of desperately plugging holes in a boat.
