  1. Having watched his recent games I notice one flaw within his high skillset."Hutson"
He tends to do too much over skating to find openings and because he is wheeling and dealing with the puck his head is often down meaning he doesn't always see the best option.
There is also a huge difference with surrounding players sometimes you just have to keep it simple because NHL players won't let you skate around for 30 secs. His team at Boston is so good several players can hold the puck and protect it and work the corners that it gives Lane lots of breaks/rests. However on MTL there is little cycling and less puck protection so he would be forced to play more defense than offense.
Both Gallagher and RHP should be top 6 .RHP is going to be destroyed on the 4th line with ZERO chance of any production whilst the plug Slafkovsky will just float around waiting for Newhook and Dach to do all the work.
I realize none of it really matters this team is not winning any Stanley Cup but Pearson third line …WHY he will not be a factor in any future cup runs.

  2. Gally s last year! UNLESS he stays healthy and can put up POINTS! }} he has in three years only 29 goals! at $$ 6.5 MILLIONs…….with 4 }}} thats FOUR more years on his contract..

  3. I would also use RHP over Gally on the pp. it’s a sad news for Norlinder, but we have too many defensemen

  4. My friends tell me that for heineman and Norlinder it's only Cap management until Dvorak is put on LTIR. They will be back.

  5. Even myself the biggest Gallagher fan agrees the RHP would be better. I’m feeling sad that Gally is almost done with his playing days. It’s going to be tough on my psyche, but it’s time. Happy & Sad!! 😂😭

  6. I really liked what I saw from norlinder, but moving to Laval is best for him, he will get a ton of PT instead of being scratched in Montreal

  7. Lane Hudson is gonna be a star in the NHL. He dominates consistently wherever he plays and in every game. Dont let his size fool you. Hes been the little guy at every level he's played and he's dominated. He's got magical hockey iq and a big heart so get ready for the little big man when he gets to the nhl cause I promise you will be entertained.

  8. definitely disappointed that Norlinder’s been sent down. I understand the reasoning behind keeping Barron up with the big club but I’m hopeful they can trade Barron for a decent return before he gets leap frogged by more deserving D-men also abit shocked Habs brass didn’t take a flyer on Raphael Lavoie 😡

  9. Why reward Barron and punish Norlinder when Norlinder looked so much better than Barron every single game..

  10. I always said since early last year, that the PP needs Xhekaj's heavy shot from the point, i really think he's got the best shot from the point, as for Barron, I think, they're trying to show him off.

  11. Gallagher is a heart n soul guy playing in a sport that could break your hands X3 , a Shea Weber Slapshot for example. Gally has the heart of a lion.

  12. try Galagher on line 3 BUT i would prefer number 56 with Monahan and Pearson. we will see how Galy goes i guess. He has slowed down. I like Galigher but when you administer with emotions does not always give good results??? example Gallygher could have signed a contract 5 million and that he would have been well paid. also and Habs would have more room under the salary cap.
but lets wait a few months to see how Galaghar performs.

  13. Evans should be one hell of convincing guy during Practices because I don't understand why he's still in the lineup…yet again, on the 4th line.
