I’m sorry but the goaltending was not the issue in the playoffs that frank always keeps referencing too. VV had a .912 save percentage which is above league average and Schmid thought limited finished the season with a .922 save percentage. They looked bad in the playoffs because of the play in front of them, NJ was completely outmatched in the CAR series and it showed. No goalie in the league could have saved them from that onslaught.
Meier absolutely was a factor. He was in all the right places making the right plays with a very high shooting percentage. That, and he brought more of a physical edge in the trenches. He just wasn't scoring.
Man, tell me you never watched a Devils game without telling me you never watched a Devils game. Timo was good for us, and fantastic in the playoffs. For some reason the pucks weren't going in. But saying he was a non-factor for us is a hilariously bad take.

Meier wasn't even bad lol. He didn't get on the board, but his play turned the tide in that rangers series the way he pestered Igor

DUDE Luke is already 10x better than Severskin.
