I'm not surprised by Wade Allison being cut. It's a shame because he's been hurt a few times but his time is up here. The Flyers have other younger players who deserve a shot at a roster spot

Like you said, Denisenko is a former top prospect and high pick. Skarek (nyi) is a top 15-20 goalie prospect but goalies are generally older and thus more often than not have to pass through waivers. Youâd have to keep him up with the big club though, and thatâs not going to happen right now. Cory Conacher, Dylan McIlrath, these are some blasts from the past.
Why wouldn't a team like the Ducks or Sharks take a chance on Denisenko? Seems like low risk potentially high reward if he really just needs a change of scenery
