Recently discovered you and you've become my go to for fantasy hockey advice. One quick question for you: How would you approach choosing between someone who is elite in a few categories vs someone who is very good in many categories. Im in a 14 man head to head league that includes hits and blocks. Thanks!
Theres a pretty strong chance Toews loses the pp2 job to byram this year. That said it is a contract year so…
Im Betting Edvinson isn't making the Wings this year. Seider, Wallman, Petry Chiarot, Holl, Gostisbehere, Maata
Dropping another banger video as always 🔥. I've been in the same 12-team H2H points league for the past 4 years. This year we all decided to transition to a keeper league, such that next year I will be able to keep 2 players that I draft this year. Was wondering if you can make a video discussing rookies and other young guys that could have longterm upside in upcoming seasons? I don't know how popular keeper/dynasty leagues are with your fanbase, but I hope it would be interesting and relevant.
in a keeper bangers league, would you keep Kempe, Kyrou or RNH?
alright my strat is coming along a bit.
right now im thinking c c/w d g ,then swing around back and fill out the rest.
as much as i would love to try the no g start .ill save it,put it in my backpocket and wait.
might be something i use for the playoffs, that nobody saw me do during the season.wouldnt work if i did it all year :O
Love the content, man.
No love for premium banger Luke Schenn ?
Speaking of, how much ice time do you see Kyle Burroughs getting in SJ next year? He was among the top hitters in the league towards year end on Vancouver's top line, but I don't see him on any projected depth charts for the Sharks.
I like your Letang take, most are sleeping on him
Keep nuge (C/LW) instead of karlsson or tavares? Makar and zibanejad are my first 2 keepers, 3 total
Great stuff once again
dude your youtube channel is dope
The dilemma of RNH. Some people are saying it's not sustainable for a player who relied that heavily on PPP to put up those numbers again (there will for sure be regression, but the question is how much), whilst others are saying it's entirely sustainable when you have a pp like Edmonton's and have the two best players in the world.
I watched a lot of Oiler games last year before and after the Barrie trade and it seemed like every PPG involved McDavid, Draisaitl, RNH, and sometimes Hyman. Not sure what that will mean for Bouchard this year, but that's why I'm hesitant on Bouchard.
Thanks for all the hard work Ken!
I have Josi and Karlsson in a pretty standard keep 6 Cats league (+fow). I only have to keep 1 Dman but I'm thinking both guys must be kept and expose the likes of Eichel and Evander K as much as it will pain me.
Would love to hear your take on the dilemma if you have a chance.
I'm in a keeper league (14 teams), I have Matthews and Elias Pettersson. With 2 elite C locked in, should I just go for 2 elite D in the 1st and 2nd round? All the best D are already claimed as keepers.
For Arizona you forgot about Valimaki – he stole the job from Moser last year who you have as splitting with Durzi. I'd say Valimaki is the most likely to run the powerplay in Arizona
Are we expecting regression from Morrissey? He's still a solid D2?
Should our D1 and D2 be able to provide peripherals? I'm looking at Hughes and Dunn and their peripherals are non-existent.
I think my worry is that say I take Sergachev or McAvoy, I better hope no one takes Hedman or Lindholm right after. If that happens, maybe I target another pp1D for insurance?
I’m hoping you stay underground. I finished 2nd listening to you, and I don’t want my opponents discovering your analysis lol
I agree, I usually draft my dman after round 7. Same with my goalie tandems, which we use in our draft format. I ended up with Heiskenen and Karlsson which was timely. Thoughts on Mike Matheson and Werenski?
Should I target Chychrun or Jake Sanderson from Ottawa? Both are sleepers in my opinion
Where you would draft EK65?
Brother man. I like your takes mostly. But the idea that MacAvoy won't be on PP1 is actually a crime. I'm hoping you just don't pay attention to the Atlantic division or something because if you know anything about the Bruins… MacAvoy is their #1 PP guy and will not be sharing PP1 time lol last year was a down year for him and he was still valuable for fantasy. My championship winning team had him on it.
I took fox second round 😂
Amazing data driven content.
Which rounds do you recommend focusing on D2, D3, and D4 picks?
Looking forward to jumping into the Patreon!
Amazing data driven content sooo much effort put in so for that THANK YOU from a new subs. Keep up the good work Brother…
Thoughts on Rasmus Sandin? He's my D4 at the moment, but i could pick up Matheson off waivers… wait and see? Or swap them?
