Bruce b run and gun style says it best chris faber, but the team is loaded with offensive minded players so teaching them defense might be a stretch, what tocchet really needs is thos grinders/checker/hitters to work with so his style can be played
Guys pls stop saying rick toccet system is boring is good defence to transition to offence look how the la kings play now thats trap hockey
When a guy wants out you let him go as soon as you can. So putting him on the top line makes sense to make him look good and increase his value
Saying that if he doesnt want to sign maybe we dont want to sign him either, great way to alienate your best player
Faber says Lafferty is "4th line player. Let's be honest here." Then says he hasn't really watched him. People in Toronto seem to think he is very versatile and can be plugged in anywhere he's needed.
This is exactly what I would like to see. Garland is fast enough and has movies that are similar to petey's . Fire in there eyes too,kinda wanna see eye of the tiger out of the team this year. Why doesn't the media and fans leave petey alone with contract conversations. Much easier to come up with a story.

If he wants out then let him go. Unlike most I liked Garland however 2 things I learned today helped change my mind. Firstly the contract he's on has a LONG time left on it. And then I learned he's 4.95 million per year not like i thought just 4 million per year, which makes me mad at Jim Benning all over again LoL
PS agree with chris on the pettersson rumour…I have been rather doubtful from anything Friedman says the last 2 years. I think the guys an outright liar and btw do we really even WANT Andrew Peeke ? Is he all that ? He doesn't seem an upgrade other than being Right Hand shot. I am wary of taking players off really bad teams which is a move the Canucks always do and it rarely ever works

Ok lemme set it straight Lafferty is a good pickup "Jack of all trades Master of non" he can do alittle of everything and brings much needed grit to the lineup speed and size way better than studnicka down there plus i rather have studnicka helping podz in the minors this teams a Dman away from competing as of right know could be a wildcard spot imo
