Detroit did not dissapoint its home crowd in the home opener, beating the Lightning 6-4. It was not nearly as close as the score would indicate with the Wings outshooting the Bolts 42-25. The top line showed off what it could really do with just incredible forecheck and passing. DeBrincat scored twice, Raymond once, and Larkin with two apples. The only downside to the teams aggresive forecheck was it meant odd-man rushes going back the other way, which the Lightning never once failed to capitalized. But the Red Wings never let that stop them. #lgrw
