[Basu] Kirby Dach has a “significant” injury and it won’t be short-term, per Canadiens. Still doing a diagnosis for a more precise timeline, but obvious will be out a while.

End it all….

I mean, i may be downvoted for this

But it might be time we consider him injury prone. Multiple seasons now, from junior to nhl where hes missing significant time

    Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck

We can’t have nice things like never I hate this

Poor Slaf. Got to play with Monahan last year, lose him after like 2 games. Get to play with Dach. Same fucking thing.

Such a fluky injury too man this fucking sucks

Hopefully we’re talking more 10-20 games missed rather than a bulk of the season, but what a nightmare. He was such a bright part of the young core.

Just gonna hope he can come back without regressing on any of the progress he’s made.

    Fucks sake. It’s already started

Fuck a duck. This team really does have shit luck. Dach was actually the player I was most excited to follow this year, and I thought he might even challenge Suzuki for top spot if given the chance. Looks like this is going be yet another painful and probably boring season unfortunately.

This fucking blows man. Every fucking year the same shit happens.

  8. idontplaypolo

2 games. Injury free team lasted 2 games.

This is so awful for the rebuild. Dach was going to be key for Slaf’s development, and we pretty much need Dach himself to develop into a top threat to be successful.

And that’s in addition to what will probably be another agonizing season where Suzuki plays 25 minutes a night and we get destroyed because our centres get outperformed consistently.

    This is horrible news

Slaf Newhook and Dach were gonna be a nightmare 2nd line to play against all year, FUCK

  11. psykomatt

Ugh. Hopefully it’s something like 25 games and back around Christmas vs out until the ASG or all season. More importantly, I just hope he doesn’t rush back.

Dach this year, Caufield last year, Drouin in past years. Anytime we get a player who starts to looks really exciting and ready to take that next big step they get injured.

At this point our luck simply has to turn around eventually right? Right??

Thanks Tinordi, for all you’ve done for the Habs.

Literally let’s just pack it up, forfeit the rest of the season. Let everyone just rest, we’ll try again in 2024

I know hockey is just entertainment for most of us here but jesus this news really ruined my day. I’m legitimately upset. ☹️ Poor Dach, he cannot catch a break.

FUCK! This sucks man, this hurts Slafs development fucks Suzukis workload. What a fucking nightmare this team is right now.

On one side we Suzuki who never missed a game and on the other, we have the entire team who’s as durable as an over boiled asparagus!
