  1. 21:36 Why is everyone trying to change Casey? Why don't you guys want the Devils to have a Norris caliber defenseman? Karlsson isn't a defenseman really but nobody wants to change him. You don't have to be Kevin Bahl's size to be a defenseman ask Quinn Hughes. If he's good enough they'll be room for him.

  2. Devils should be able to trade any extra RHD as there always a market for them. Kings had a lot of depth there only to turn blue line into a shambles. They got Spence at 5'5 who isn't even Colin Miller level who scored nearly 20 in AHL when it was not Glorified ECHL to 4 for this scrub :)? Durzi is as good or anybody they got on roster especially Mediocre Mikey at over 4M making Toews money on Avs or more than Dobson on Islanders who can score 10 to 20 goals with 50 points ;). Helga Grans was got along with Faber who helped Minnesota win Playoffs game last year along with Sean Walker :). Clarke is like 120 pounds so any D-Men Below 6'2 or a certain weight are liability 🙂 Stone turned his hair White :). Seinfeld Graduated from my High School if a fan of his show might like to know that :). Holtz probably gets traded. Devils go All In For Cup :).

  3. Holtz does look faster this year but I have my doubts that he’ll stay on the second line. I’m projecting him as a third line talent which means Devils made a mistake on this pick

  4. Brent Burns is one of the few players I can think of who transitioned positions in the NHL it’s extremely rare. Brendan Smith slotted at forward in the past but for the most part was usually on D

  5. Joe is great guest. Something you will not see on the big hockey sites. It's said that the difference between a genious and madness is paper thin. Truly unique person.

  6. Casey is 5'10. Brian Raflaski was also 5'10, who used his quickness, stick handling, and high hockey IQ to flourish as an NHL defenseman. He won 3 Cups and was paired with all-time greats, such as Scott Stevens and Nick Lidstrom. I'm not worried about Casey.

As far a having a glut of talent on the right side, I wouldn't worry. We can delay things for at least 2+ yrs, by putting him in the minors for his 1st season. By then Nemec will be showcased and we will have the option to trade him.

  7. This is exactly why Nemec was a bad pick. Ruff is doing everything he can to ruin Holtz and the Devils are so stacked at D that the Devils are taking a GREAT defensive prospect in Seamus Casey and trying to turn him into a forward because Fitz has a h@rd @n for Defensemen and the few forwards we have Ruff is turning into head cases.

  8. I unfortunately feel like Holtz could turn into a very very similar case/version of Filip Forsberg. High 1st round pick, took him a few years to break out but Nashville wasn't stacked like we are so he didn't have to "earn" a spot as much as Holtz does. I could see Holtz getting traded if he doesn't get it together, and then pop off due to change of scenery. I hope I'm wrong though.
