  1. The Canucks made a massive overcorrection from zero to tons of penalty killing specialists, so you knew it was going to be better, but when the ref calls that many penalties on you is there such a thing as over stocking on PK specialists? Miller is the last centreman on this roster to gain the benefit of our long lost faceoff whisperer's coaching. Miller went from terrible to solid under Manny Malhotra. I wish Malhotra had been around for Pettersson's shift to centre. He's gotten a lot better at faceoffs, but that was a coaching loss that hurt the team.

  2. Patrick Allvin had an enormous off-season. No big blockbusters, but his moves have been amazing so far

  3. Lafferty, DeSmith, and Hronek all are performing excellent. Besides Riley Stillman Alvin has been pretty solid with his trade acquisitions.

  4. That OEL buyout looking better and better by the games that go by and i totally forgot about bluegar we beat edmonton with a battered roster twice thats insane

Edit: its only 2 games but like myers has been playing really good using his size and most importantly hes using his big strides to beat skaters its actually pretty good

  5. Previous versions of the Canucks would definitely come out flat against Philly Tuesday and lose 5-1, we shall see if the Tocchet magic is an illusion or not.

  6. They might not have scored the 2nd power play goal if Juulsen hadn't given the puck away like that. Hopefully, he is in the AHL soon.
