  1. Very bad news. Hope his injury does not effect his future career. Poor Slaf as well. He was playing well on the 2nd line with Dach, and hope this doesn't effect his progress neither

  2. I have faith in him. The Rocket himself had a bad knee and missed lots of games at the beginning of his career. Focus on getting well Kirby 💙🤍❤️

  3. if it's torn ACL and MCL, he's lucky if his career isn't over. I mean I played with kids who were going to go play D1 college teams, annd one of them tore his ACL and that was it. He lost the scholarship to DU and ended up quitting hockey all together. Tearing ligaments isn't just season ending, it's career ending. If he comes back, he's never going to be as good on his feet and it cuts his career in half. Fucking your knees is the worst injury you could have as a skater.

  4. I currently have the same injury it’s not fun at all. But it’s a very common injury grant fuhr came back from the same injury and start 73 games the next year.

  5. That is absolutely terrible!!! Kirby can't get a break with the injury bug. Kirby is a great player and will be missed. Good luck on your recovery and l hope it is quicker than expected. You will be missed. ( Go Habs GO )

  6. Thats crazy bad luck man. He got facked in the wjhc right when he was on the verge of breakout. Then fought for yrs to develop and now this. Jeeze

  7. ACL AND MCL? that's a death sentence. age is on his side, but some people just never come back the same from those kinds of injuries. that's just grim.

  8. With Dach potentially out for the season, the bright side is it frees up 3.3M on the cap to maybe pick up a loaner player or 2.

  9. Torn ligaments do not count as far as being injury prone. Those are freak injuries and he will be out until March if he is a rehab freak. April is way more likely.

  10. How do these NHL contracts work? If injured do players still get paid full or partial?

  11. This guy reminds me of Gaborik with injuries. Time for the habs to sign Phil Kessel. At least he won't miss a game!

  12. I watched it live and hated that hit. Boards are too low in front of the bench man… I'm only 6"0 tall unlike Kirby's 6"4, and I jump over the boards without any effort.

Just put the boards a little higher ffs.

  13. Such a shame he was looking more and more comfortable on the ice. That line with Slaf was developing great chemistry. Bummer indeed

  14. half of knights defense is injured and no one cares, jack eichel scores a crazy goal and no one cares, even the stanley cup wasn’t talked about enough i love hockey youtube but being a vegas fan can be so boring sometimes

  15. This sucks ! Was excited to see him play im going to the blue jackets game my friends coming down here in Quebec from windsor im making him visit the bell center ! With my gf wich both of them never went to a nhl hockey game in person

  16. That's so bad… Can someone explain to me how its possible? Having 2 tored acl myself I dont see how it could happen on the hit by Tinordi?

  17. Man, its not just that he's probably done for the season, he's probably taking a major blow to the future of his career too. I don't know a single athlete that came back the same after an ACL injury which is really awful to think about
