Our losing streak and what YOU can do about it: Chicken Parm edition

I know we haven’t been doing this for two years on the sub but I wrote up a summary for another user today and thought to myself: “I’M EATING CHICKEN PARM TONIGHT BECAUSE I WANT TO GET A W.”

For those of you who do not know what in the world I’m talking about, here’s the post I wrote for a new Kraken user, please feel free to post additional links and resources related to our impending chicken parm victory below and I will update the main post.

Here are some great resources:

First up we have the great summary by u/TumblingEnglishMuffn :

>One of the national announcers took a massive bite of chicken parm, while play was going on, and then tried to call the game.

>[Also someone printed out a screencap meme and brought it to a game.](https://www.reddit.com/r/SeattleKraken/comments/rapppn/release_the_kraken/)
>
>[More discussion about it here](https://www.reddit.com/r/SeattleKraken/comments/r8vymh/i_do_like_a_good_chicken_parm_though/)
>
>Edit: Also notable because that was during the last game of a 6 game losing streak, which they then went on to win 5 of the next 7 games (including one SO loss).

Another summary by u/tateand99:

>It was from the Avs game a couple weeks ago that was an ESPN exclusive. At the start of the 3rd period the commentator, John Buccigross, had some chicken parm delivered to the booth and him and the other commentator basically spent the next 20-30 minutes mostly talking about that and completely ignoring the game. A lot of people were very annoyed by this at them time, but ever since that game the Kraken are 5-1-1 and have beat 4 of the best teams in the league.

If you need some inspiration there’s a whole [thread](https://www.reddit.com/r/SeattleKraken/comments/r9ntc4/chicken_parm_recipe_thread/) dedicated to chicken parm recipes!

Also a [search](https://www.reddit.com/r/SeattleKraken/search/?q=chicken%20parm&restrict_sr=1) of the sub will return some great results.
