What made the Montreal Canadiens so successful in the 80's and up to the 1993 Cup was players like this were on EVERY roster. Either non drafted or late round picks who were contributing players on championship teams! Stephane Lebeau, Paul DiPietro, Ed Ronan, Brian Skrudland, Mike McPhee, Chris Nilan and others. RFP can be a contributing member of a very good Montreal team in a couple of years provided they continue to give him the playing time and opportunities that he has earned.
