The Toronto Maple Leafs bid for a perfect season is no more after losing 4-1 to the Chicago Blackhawks. Mike DiStefano and David Morassutti break it all down as they look at another familiar type of result to a team they were expected to beat. Defense is weak as it was expected. The 3rd line can't find its footing. And the goaltending is shaky. Matthews and Nylander are carrying this team.

I said b4 Klingberg was the worst off season signing by any team. What a waste of 4mil+. Rielly is a much better player and better on PP. McCabe is soft and not good defense. Gio=too old to play every day and I'm a fan of his. So that's 3 bad d-men. Don't blame Marner that's ridiculous. The forwards mostly sucked. So stupid to attack MM. SOUND THE ALARM YES!!! Bottom 2 lines are a mess. Minton clearly isn't NHL caliber yet. Domi should be 3rd line center. Keefe is a crap coach. He seems clueless. Like Dubas he likes to hear himself talk. They will NEVER win with him coaching. It's been the same since Keefe has been here, great offense crap D. They won't go anywhere with that formula. What's the over/under on his tenure? I say 25 games. My 3 cents…

Woll to deep in the net on the 2nd & 3rd goals..McCabe is horrible and the 3rd line has no chemistry. With just an average D and goaltending they won't go far in the playoffs. Still need a top end goalie and at least 3 more top 4D…facts!
