[Seravalli] Patrick Kane isn’t likely to make a decision on a new home before November, and this isn’t an exhaustive list, but keep an eye on these three teams over the next few weeks: #LetsGoBuffalo , #NYR and #LGRW . From today’s Daily Faceoff Live

Patrick Kane told me, explicitly, that we would love to come back, and The Rangers are his first choice. He then invited me to his mansion for steaks. When I got there he was riding on his solid Gold Unicorn. I said, “Tell me honestly, are you healed and can you bring a cup to New York?” He looked into my eyes and said, “Verily I say unto you, I will be healed and these double numbers will bring a cup back to NY, it has been written. Now take another hit of this acid and commune with my flesh.”

  2. He’s not coming back here to play on the third line

  3. Christ we’re still doing this? He had this entire organization in shambles last year for months before he even skated in a game

Unpopular opinion, I’d be fine with a healthy and cheap Kane coming back if Wheeler doesn’t work out.

This is basically non-news. Buffalo? Sure because he’s from the area. NYR? Sure because that’s where he played last. Nice deduction Sherlock Holmes.

Until Kane’s camp starts talking, then we can have mini meltdowns, haha.

  6. No. Just no.

If we need to add another wing to the roster due to injury and/or Wheeler being bad, I would much rather just call up Othmann than sign a 34 year old who just had hip surgery, sucks defensively, and is nowhere near what he once was offensively.

Ridiculous. Move on from this guy already. If he comes in, that just takes time away from Kakko or Laf. Thanks but no thanks
