[Pagnotta] There seems to be some movement on the Conor Garland front; hearing a 3rd team could be in play. Talks w/ teams like Preds, Caps, CBJ & at least 1 more Eastern team are ongoing. The Canucks want this done sooner than later, but $$ is a big factor. How creative can they get?

Pagnotta usually doesn’t have accurate information on what is going on with the Canucks but he’s also right once in a while so … Who knows how accurate this is.

Garland honestly isn’t even really over paid. It’d be stupid for the long term to give up something just to clear some cap for a player that isn’t over paid in my opinion.
If you think he’s over paid what do you think he’s actually worth? 4.5m? That’s barely even below what he gets, why give up something just to save such a little amount?
Please canucks don’t trade him if we have to give up something of value.

I don’t understand any point of this unless you’re getting a RD that’s similar in talent as Garland. You aren’t getting a winger that’s better than Garland at his price point
