This team will only last 5-10 more years in Winnipeg unless they win a cup or have sustained 2nd-round playoff success. The Jets need to give their fans a championship.
Bottom line this team is not in the running to win a cup. Plain and simple. 12 years and 1 good run is just not acceptable. Fans get jipped hard earned money when they get in the playoffs and not deliver. Rack up more losses and prepare for the arena to get less than 10,000 attendance.
If I'm the Jets, I'd tank these next 2 years to get 2 generational talents. These next two upcoming drafts have that & I'd do it in a heartbeat. What else do they have to lose?
