  1. Its not good and its not working his defensive game is horrible. If he needs a coach to tell him to go to the net he should have never been drafted.People should stop talking about St.Louis like he is doing anything positive because it not showing on the ice the players look LOST and continue to make terrible low IQ decisions.A perfect example is countless times last games everytime a player felt a check incoming they through the puck blind around the boards.Sometimes that blind careless choice does end up on your D mans stick but often it does not so then your just throwing the puck away BLIND because the player was afraid to engage in body contact.
Most people dont seem to really understand the game fine but I do and the mount of times every single shift that i see coaching flaws is mind boggling.EVERY single flaw in their game aside from cowardice to engage in contact is fixable with good coaching which seems invisible so far.

  2. Give me a break ! Did you ever see him skating ? He was slow in the LHMQ, he is slow in the AHL ? and it's gone be even worse in the NHL. The man we need is
    Emil Heineman but he's hurt.

  3. Who are they calling up? They still have to ice a team and keep playing? Norlinder and Roy would be perfect call-ups

  4. Hate to say it boys… but Norlinder is the next Mark Streit! He'll come in… look great… then out the door to have a good career elsewhere!!!

  5. Unlike the rose colored glass wearers Guhle has not yet played beyond VERY average in any of his games.I am not afraid to admit I had lwoer expectations of Dach but he was playing good nowhere near his first round pick worth but he has looked good.Newhook has also been ok but again we gave a first and second so we LOST the value trade.
I said it last year Kovacevic is the second best D man and was fun to see him get several chances on the offense last game he is very under rated he is a smart D man so far much better than Guhle.
As for Slafkovsky he has shown SOME positive signs but he is maybe the worst player defensively I can remember ever seeing outside of house league hockey. He is also weak on the puck and can only carry it using his skating speed which is good once he gets going. He is still very slow off the start which is why he took those penalties reaching in so when he has to stop he is not very good battling for loose pucks.I still see zero indication he knows how to shoot outside going to the net and hoping for a juicy pass or rebound.
The habs are 90% of the time a turnover team that needs to capitalize on mistakes and man alive that powerplay needs a LOT of work. The simple of it is the players are trying too hard to the point of telegraphing every pass to Caufield that is NOT smart hockey.

  6. Time to tank. Go for number one this time. We fucked up not getting Bedard or Fantilli.

  7. This year players who are injured will not be rushed back, they will have to complete full rehabilitation.

  8. MSL will try anything at this point lol! All players are going to be vi en a chance to shine at all positions! I mean cmon! Whoever comes up to fill the injury voids? They will be showcased until the injured guys come back!😊

  9. Martin St.Louis said I'm 48 years old i need my sleep 🚨 🏒 😵‍💫

  10. If Roy is called up can he play center? And if so … He could be on the 2nd line in between Slaf and Newhook . That would not be soo cool 😎👍

  11. I've been a Slaf advocate for a long time but last game he pissed me off. He took such stupid penalties and it looked like he was just gliding around the ice feeling confused. Idk, I am hopeful for him, especially after that game one, but he went downhill since. I understand he had a good chemistry with Dach, but I feel like he's taking out his frustration by playing stupidly.

  12. Are you drunk , They can't put the puck in the net, Roy or norlider, the Rocket haven't won a game yet, you really Hughes will call them , that's not a upgrade, I like to know what your smoking, both of you

  13. They’ve invested a lot in Primeau to give up on him at this point. They should dump Allen and go with Monty & Prime Time!
