So far they’ve been winning largely on offense, outside of a shutout against a really toothless looking bluejackets team, which I don’t think is sustainable.
A near 50% power play is definitely not going to last, and neither is a 2ppg DeBrincat.
If they can tighten things up on the back end and in net I think this team has the depth to stay in the hunt for a playoff race and hopefully be in position to go in at the deadline in some capacity rather than sell.

I think Raymond has actually been playing pretty well this season, obviously he hasn’t been scoring a ton of goals yet but his physicality has been noticeable and he’s been strong on the puck. Immediate upgrade over Perron on that first line, I think saying he’s in a slump is an overreaction

Some numbers are unsustainable, but what has me optimistic is that no 1 player or line is carrying us to wins, the whole team seems to be rolling and the underlying numbers have been really good to start

Idk if the solid play is sustainable. But I tell you what, my erection has been pretty damn sustainable. So there appears to be a correlation.
