Not sure if I’m overreacting too early into the season, but Markstrom and Vladar (so far against Buffalo) have not inspired enough confidence on getting more starts. Let this meme convey the readiness that Dustin Wolf has on the Flames eventually calling him up.

Markstrom hasn’t been a problem this year so far. He’s been solid.
Wolf won’t be a saviour of this team in year one so temper your expectations.

Massive overreaction. Markstrom has let in one “softie” that was deflected by his own defencemen from, what, six feet out? Those are deadly, not only because that’s a really dangerous spot to tip it from but because you never anticipate your defenceman to do it to you.
Vladar tonight? First two goals go in because he dropped into the butterfly early. If he’d’ve kept his feet, neither of those go in. That’s not difficult to fix. And the third was a really good shot, someone needs to get in on Peterka before he gets that shot away.
