Jimmy vesey was a pain in the ass from the very start. Over promise and under deliver, kind of like rick Nash except also an asshole.
So basically the hobey baker means virtually nothing in terms of future success. Suuuuper jealous of Maker as a bruins fan, him and mcavoy would be incredible

I remember there was so much talk about who was going to sign Vesey. Lots of Hawks fans crossing their fingers that summer hoping he would be on a line with Toews. That hype is now gone
NCAA as a league is garbage, there are a few guys who have had good NHL career's, however most Hobey Baker winner's are average pros at best.
My money is on Newhook to win it whis season

The season wasn't put on pause in the SHL. They completed it and canceled the post-season.
A season in the Swedish Hockey League is "only" 52 games so Jack Connolly couldn't put up more numbers then he did.

So I'm not a huge hockey fan, but since St. Louis won the Stanley Cup (I go for all teams and former teams from St Louis), I've been trying to get into hockey more and watching videos. I have a question about Andy Miele. If he won the best college player, why did he go undrafted?

I was a grade below Gaudreau at BC and it was such a treat to be able to watch him play. the kid was on another level compared to the rest of college hockey. he blew past defenders like it was nothing
