At this point I think the issue is attitude for Mesar, but sending him to Kitchener is probably just going to make it worse, I don’t get the management decision here. He is a 1st round pick and I don’t understand what they are doing with him. Any time he has played with pros he didn’t look that much out of place, that’s why I think the issue here seems to be more about personality than skill.

Sucks for mesar, but I guess he wasn’t gonna get the playing time. With Dach, Reinbacher, Guhle Hutson injured, laval D looking terrible this is the only time I’ve felt uncertain about the rebuild

The Rocket is already a super young team. Mesar was the youngest players from the group. I guess the Habs prefered the option of sending him to the OHL rather than send someone else to the ECHL.

Hopefully Mesar can rebound in the OHL this year and maybe get traded to a better team.

If they have any hope of trading Armia then he needs to be in the NHL. Maybe they can use him as a piece and take another bad contract bad like Mantha.

Glad for Joel, he did all the right things in Laval. Never been impressed with Mesar but maybe he can turn it around with one more junior season, not worried. Worried is what I am about Owen Beck right now

So they signed a 31 year old Maillet instead of keeping place for a young Mesar

Great situation all around for Mesar. He got to play and train with pro players. That’s a big plus in my book. Now back to top line minutes and à better team than last year.

Good for Mesar. Kitchener are really good right now and according to Godin, he’s really open to the idea of going back. All he wants is ice time.

Unless they really want to play Pearson/Gallagher on the top 6 and PP, I don’t see why Roy is not a temporary call up until Dvo comes back.
Suzuki, Caufield, Harris, Xhekaj and Guhle didn’t play in the AHL.
