Oddly enough, out of every aspect of Connor’s game, I’ve been LEAST impressed with his shot lol. He’s really impressed me with his play in all 3 zones, he’s so smart for an 18 year old kid, he sees the ice so well, he passes like a veteran, he’s even been more of a defensive presence than I figured he would. But after how touted his shot was, that’s the one part I would say needs the most work. And “needs work” is relative…he’s 18, he’s adjusting, I’m not worried about it at all but I’d like to see him hit the net more and I would really like to see him go to the backhand.
Maybe I’m just used to 88 and I should allow Connor to not be Patrick Kane when it comes to the backhand, but I think it limited his scoring opportunities on a couple drives
Vlasic has been very impressive in all phases. Looks like we’re doing a great job at developing these rookies. Would like to see more out of reichel though
