If players can make custom adjustments to their skates like laces or the several speciality pairs Matthews wears, goalie helmets and such then the NHL is saying the players can express themselves. If they want to use Pride tape near the grip on their stick I’m all for it.

Stick brands should just offer rainbow on their sticks and let the players decide to use them. It’s not tape then.
