  1. He really deserves this. Being a goalie myself, I know how hard it is to make these saves. Congrats!!

  2. Winnington has been killing it, he’s a huge reason the blues have climbed the standings and got themselves into a good playoff spot. Before him we had something like an 8% chance of making the playoffs, What a turn around! LGB!

  3. He came outta nowhere when the Blues were playing like doo doo, then people were staring to blame Doug Armstrong (our GM) for our play this season. Then like I said, Binnington comes outta nowhere – a draft pick from like five years ago… then the Blues win 11 straight and the team finally gets together and plays like one, then the blues go from 27th to 14th (something like that) in less than a month and everyone’s happy. THANK! YOU! BINNY!

  4. Wow, this dude is pretty incredible. Unlike a lot of the legendary goalies, he's not very unorthodox. He never has to make any crazy weird saves because he's ALWAYS in the right position, square to every shot, making it look easy like he's a damn robot!

  5. Perfect positioning allows him to move very fluidly and make simple saves. You’ll never see him diving for the puck or doing any other unnecessary things, he’s so good that he makes saves that look better than diving saves.

  6. And in June he will be carrying Lord Stanley and skating it all over the Enterprise rink

  7. Even when he had won rookie of the month two months in a row, people were still talking all about Carter Hart. Coincidentally, Binnington's first game was a 3-0 shutout against Hart and the Flyers.

  8. Want to see why a goalie is playing well, watch their eyes. If they are watching the puck all the way into them it’s a good bet that they’re playing well.

  9. When it was time to chuck Allen , Binnington was not the Blues first choice. Husso (spelling?) was next on the depth chart but he had on and off ankle issues. So Binnington gets the call and after four playoff rounds STL brings the cup to a new home.

Allen was a good goalie but after a while he kinda stunk it up. He might not be a blue next season. To his credit Allen took the high road and helped Binnington out a lot.
