This season really needs to be the one where the Kings show they can win more often against the great teams, not just the mid-bad teams. So far in the early going, that’s not really bearing itself out. I’m not hitting the panic button yet or anything, but it’s not all that encouraging, the power play in particular has been a let down and needs to get going. Happy to see Laffy get his much deserved first goal at least.
We played pretty well, until Boston squeezed us out, and then we decided to just stop trying. Should’ve easily had 2-3 goals in the first 10 minutes but Boston showed why having elite goaltending can still keep them at the top, even after losing so many pieces in the offseason.
Powerplay has been pretty ass, need to go back to what was working. Kempe needs to demand the puck and start finding twine, not sure why we’re so disjointed, its like everyone wants the puck except the ones that actually score the goals.
Got beat by a good team. It’s gonna happen during the season. Learn and move on. Good for Laf, he really earned that 1st one.
Excited to start playing some non elite teams soon

Get this team back on the road where they win. Sway played real good, sucks. Glad Laf got his first one.
Not gonna let this one bother me too much. Boston played a near perfect 3rd period and sometimes you simply tip the cap. Very good team they have. Kings were still quite dangerous a lot of the game. Kopi unfortunately had a tough game and it seemed kind of interesting how Todd had the D pairs working.

LA wasn’t great, a very meh game all around. Swayman thoroughly earned the W tonight.
Talbot still looked good enough, can’t really fault him on the goals IMO.

Kings played ok. You can see a clear change in the team. The new addition have really put something out.
I was at the game tonight and it was super unclear why that hooking we got at the end of the second was a double minor penalty.
Anyone hear the explanation who watched it on tv?
