Max has proven time and time and time again that when it comes down to wheel to wheel racing, he hasn't got the ability. Right through his career he's been 'that' driver who crashes into people or shoves them off the track. Only reason he won his title is because his car was faster in a straight line..end of!!!
Keep in mind that they are talking about a drive who at the time was driving a less fast car than them, yet that driver was capable of battling with them. After they lost the car advantage, battles were when that driver lapped them.

Max drove like a muppet when he first arrived in F1. He’s been considerably better over the last 2 years. The first (very sketchy) title clearly calmed things down a little. He’s difficult to warm to though, because he can be quite unpleasant, some of the time. It took quite a while for Lewis to grow on me though. It was probably only in his last couple of years at McLaren that I really started to appreciate what he was about. I think he’s an exceptional talent. He did (just about) out perform Alonso in the same car, in his rookie season. Alonso said it was a fix, but there is no way McLaren paid Alonso $22m if they didn’t want him to win! Lewis was paid $500k before bonuses that same season. It’s insane what Lewis achieved against Alonso as Alonso is truly one of the all time greats.
Love how he used to compliment max until max showed him the back of his car race after race now all of a sudden he says you have to give him space or he will hit you lol😂😂😂
Lol coming back to this after Spa 2023, Lewis has Sucessfully donked into 3 Redbulls on 4 different occasions. Either putting them entirely out the race or causing them to lose position by a large margin. I don't know it seems Lewis is the one the one that needs to leave space not Max.
Look this is racing and you are never going through a carrier with out hitting someone. But this attitude of his here is why people don't like him.
