He’s getting a raw deal. The Sabres don’t want to send him to juniors, but he can’t stay down in the AHL other than conditioning stints. Can’t wait for him to go to the Amerks after Juniors is over.
A good old-fashioned conditioning stint!
He should be able to play 6 games down in Rochester before having to be recalled and make the Sabres or be assigned to Juniors.
He should play a few games in the NhL no?
Hopefully he can put a few points together and shows he can stick with the big club.
Give him and Benson their 9 games, send them down, and then Quinn will be ready to go
From what I gather, he’ll be eligible for the AHL when he turns 20 on January 1st.
