Guy with 2 goals combined in the last 2 seasons is somehow better than 18% of NHL players at goal scoring

Since we’re doing this, I guess it’s also worth pointing out that his RR/60 are horrendous and that he’s [giving up on plays and running around and deserting his position, more than any other d-man currently in the league](https://youtu.be/dQw4w9WgXcQ?si=-JvHN9h8-XDixEcb).
He’s been a huge let down and if you ask me how I’m feeling, then personally I think it’s time to say goodbye. If someone can’t see that at this point, then they’re simply too blind to see…

Dear lord.

Does anyone know how many goals against he’s been in for this season?

A lot of people were saying in the off-season that we are better off just having Myers playing 3rd pair than trading him. I would take that rumored trade for Labanc any day just so I don’t have to watch this guy anymore

Drance when someone says Myers has no full blue categories:

Our generational talent Tyler Myers has more goals than Ovechkin this season 🤭

Here is my question. For all the hard work all the guys put in this year, coming into training camp early, all the culture changes in terms of effort and commitment to the team; how do you come in everyday and deal with this dude.
I seriously think it would be better for team moral and the lockerroom if he sat in the pressbox

He’d be tough to move for 7th, even with 50% retention.
Analytics focused fans and folks have been yelling for half a decade about how poor he is defensively and somehow [everytime someone does it](https://www.reddit.com/r/canucks/comments/p34sco/in_my_opinion_with_the_changes_weve_mad_on_the/), people pretend he is good because they see him being tall or talk about his reach or some perceived physicality. They even think he was a force in the bubble playoffs, when he was held pointless and averaged over a penalty a game! Tyler Myers has not been worth even close to his salary even when he was on his last team. Mistake all the way through his contract.

Wait, so according to this chart, his defense has been improving since 2020-2021?

It’s always been really bad.
