I'm too old school. I saw nothing wrong with that. Dzingel made a terrible pass, (used to be called a suicide pass), into his buddy's feet. Smith was looking for the puck, then boom.
The way the announcer says “we got a scrap” says it all about the NHL nowadays. Surprised to see a fight. After watching the 3 Montreal-Boston games it’s sad to see what the league has come to.
Not that bad or vicious. Definitely interference but not sure if it's suspension worthy. Cogliano's hit was different than this. Borgman anticipated a good pass from Dzingle to Smith, and finished the check anyways. Kempe got rid of the puck then 2 seconds later, Cogliano comes in with a late shoulder to the head. I'm a Stars fan and that's the way I saw it.
